Update 2: Building Works at St Killian

We've been given an update about the water rectification works currently underway at St Killian.

The contractor has advised of a delay to the anticipated schedule due to the high heat and humidity we've experienced recently. It's crucial the waterproofing membrane is applied in appropriate weather conditions - heat and rain can affect the application and curing process.

That stage is now complete so the contractors will move forward with the final stages of the project this week (commencing 23 November). They anticipate the work will be completed by late in the week but hopefully sooner.

At the completion of the works the scaffolding will be removed.

The committee has asked Strata Choice to look into options for cleaning up - this will include both the common property areas and balconies around the worksite which have experienced the most dust and debris (if the owners want to provide access for cleaning). We'll be in touch with updates when we have responses from suppliers.
