Safety & Security

St Killian's safety and security system comprises:

​

• secure access to the common property by key or garage remote

• a remote video access system for guests, and

• fire detection and alarm systems.

Please keep the front gate closed to deter unwanted guests.

​

For the safety and security of all residents and tenants, please do not prop open the following doors:

​

• the front door

• the door from the lift lobby into the rear garden

• the door from the carpark into the building

• the roller door, and

• the fire exit gate beside the roller door into McDonald Lane

​

Please ensure the doors are closed after you pass through them and that you are not tailgated by someone not known to you.  ​

For additional keys, please contact your real estate agent if you are renting or StrataChoice if you own a lot in St Killian.

Owners are responsible for maintaining the smoke detectors in their apartments.  In accordance with the laws, the Owners Corporation organises regular checks of the fire safety system, including the smoke detectors in every apartment.  Residents are obliged to cooperate with requests for access by the technicians when notice is given by Strata Choice, the strata managing agent.
