Hello everyone

John (Unit 4) has purchased and planted various herbs and vegetables in the two garden beds in the rear. He has asked me to let you know that some of the veggies are just starting to come on. The beans and peas haven't been so successful but zucchini are coming on as are cucumbers. The tomatoes, lettuce and corn are powering on and it shouldn't be too long before they're ready as are various forms of lettuce. He's expecting capsicum and eggplants as well. The rocket had produced a good crop but went to seed during his recent absence. Fresh plantings of rocket this weekend along with some more lettuce, chillies, radishes, silver beet and strawberries. In terms of herbs, there's basil, sage, oregano, dill, thyme, italian parsley and in separate pots, mint and a bay tree all at different stages of growth.
Please help yourself as the crops come on over the summer. Alternatively, if you'd like to put something in the beds, let him know so he doesn't keep filling it up.
