Hot Water to Your Apartment

Does hot water take a long time to reach your apartment?

Last night our plumber found a problem with the circuit that powers the hot water pump. We’ll arrange an electrician to rectify the problem early next week. The same circuit powers some of the lighting in the lower stairwell so you may notice the push button light doesn’t work.

In the meantime, he’s rigged up a temporary solution for the hot water pump. He’s using another circuit to power the hot water pump. There’s a long orange power cord wrapped around conduits in the basement car park. It’s a bit ugly but please do not interfere with that set up. It will be removed when the electrician has fixed the circuit.

Leaking Water at the Mains Source Near the Front Gate

The plumber investigated the leak from the mains source at the front gate.

He advised the recent disruptions damaged some old parts in the mains tap. He’ll rectify the leak but will need a specialist pipe freezer. This will mean the water supply to all apartments will need to be turned off again at some stage. We will let you know.

In the meantime, please know the leak at the front gate is being managed and take care not to slip.
